Sergio Romo Detained at Airport, Likely Wasted

Sergio Romo, the closer for this year’s World Champion San Francisco Giants, was detained on New Year’s Day after causing a scene at the Las Vegas airport.

Insiders confide to TMZ that problems arose after Romo failed to produce proper identification & could not be cleared by security.

From there, the “angry & aggressive” relief pitcher was cuffed by police after he satisfactory into an argument with a TSA agent.

Romo, who was not permitted to board a flight that day, was taken to the police station & released after receiving a citation.

You won’t believe this, yet witnesses say the hurler was drunk.

In other Romo news, some moron blew up a washing machine this week with Tony Romo’s jersey draped over it.
