Katherine Webb to Work for Inside Edition

Seriously, ESPN, no apology was necessary for Brent Musberger’s comments regarding Katherine Webb.

Thanks to that announcer gushing over this 23-year old beauty last week, Webb has gained many Twitter followers; signed on for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue; & now landed a gig with Inside Edition.

She will cover the upcoming Super Bowl for that entertainment news program.

Meanwhile, with some in the Twitterverse coming down on Webb for her sudden rise to fame, the mother of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron (Webb’s main squeeze) has come to her potential daughter-in-law’s defense.

“@_KatherineWebb proud for you & ignore the jealous folks maybe one day they can host something like the loser convention or something,” Dee Dee Bonner wrote.

Okay, she has to work on her slams. But at least she’s there for her son’s girlfriend!
