Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M is in some hot water over a recent photo he posted on Instagram. He was at a casino at the time … with a wad of cash.
The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner’s caption: “casino ballin.”
The controversial picture was deleted shortly after it appeared.
Legally, the star did nothing wrong. He was at an Indian casino in Oklahoma, where patrons need only be 18 years old to play. Johnny Manziel is 20.
The WinStar Casino even shouted out Manziel on Twitter.
So what’s the huge deal? The world of social media once again wanted to question the way Manziel has pleasant … & he felt the need to defend himself.
His Twitter response:
He’s right, of course … yet he may moreover want to consider that as the face of college football, he’s going to be under a microscope with this kind of thing.
Some people will keep hating & sometimes you can’t win. But you don’t want to lob softballs at them like this, if only for the sake of your own Twitter feed.
That thing will blow up like Manziel’s recent casino run.
