Hulk Hogan Files $50 Million Lawsuit Against Laser Spine Company
Hulk Hogan is lawsuit pleased these days.
The former wrestling star has already filed a $100 million suit against Gawker for airing footage of the Hulk Hogan sex tape, & now he’s seeking $50 million from the Laser Spine Institute.
Hogan alleges that this Florida-based company royally messed up multiple procedures meant to treat his lumbar spinal abnormalities in 2009.
He adds that the surgeries actually worsened the condition, which was after fixed by a different set of physicians.
The ex-WCW & WWE champion is seeking the cash because the botched initial procedures supposedly preventing him from a MAJOR payday: a match against John Cena that was part of a lucrative deal with Vince McMahon.
According to TMZ, the company at the center of the lawsuit has released a statement that simply reads:
“To protect patient privacy as well as the legal process, we do not discuss the details of litigation matters.”
Hogan moreover says Laser Spine Institute profited from his image & likeness without his permission.
